FutuReNGO

On November 27–29, 2025, we sent a delegation from Fundacja Leonarda to the international FutuReNGO conference in Paris, organized by Fundacja Teraz Wy. Our participation was made possible by a grant from the National Freedom Institute – for which we are immensely grateful.
The three days of the conference were an intense journey through topics that matter to today’s non-governmental organizations. We talked about the financial stability of NGOs, fundraising, new technologies and AI, but also – and this is especially important to us – about well-being, mindfulness and stress management in the third sector.
The workshops and panel discussions not only gave us concrete tools (for example for financial planning and fundraising), but also made us stop and ask ourselves about the Foundation’s mission, vision and the direction of its further development. We came back with a clear conviction that effective social action starts with caring for people – both those we work for and those who do the work.
Networking was also of great value to us – meeting people from different countries and fields, exchanging experiences and having first conversations about potential partnerships. Some of these meetings grew into an international network of contacts with whom we stay in touch and inspire one another.
This trip gave us the impetus to keep going, plan better and build the Foundation in a more conscious, stable and mindful way.

Name of the public task: “Participation in the ‘Future of NGOs’ conference”

The task consisted of representatives of Fundacja Leonarda taking part in the nationwide conference “The Future of NGOs”, devoted to sharing experiences and discussing directions for the development of the non-governmental sector in Poland. The project aims to raise the competences of the organization’s staff, build cross-sector partnerships and strengthen the Foundation’s institutional capacity through participation in an educational and networking event.

The public task is financed by the Civil Society Development Support Fund (FWRSO), a state special-purpose fund administered by the National Freedom Institute – Center for Civil Society Development (NIW-CRSO).
